Accessibility Statement

Edocate is committed to making edocate.com usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Our approach

• The site is built with semantic HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer) so assistive technology can identify and navigate each part of a page.
• Every interactive element — links, buttons, form fields, the menu — can be operated with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator at every step.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text, or are marked decorative when they add no information of their own.

Verification

We test pages with axe-core, an automated accessibility testing tool, as part of building and updating the site, to catch common issues such as missing labels, insufficient color contrast, or improper heading structure.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time checklist. As the site is updated, we re-check affected pages against the same standard.
